Digital sensors require specific impedance matching. This cable is manufactured with a 120-ohm characteristic impedance on the data pair to prevent signal reflections.
For embedment in dams or tunnels, we offer a steel-wire braid armored version. This prevents crushing damage from high static pressures.
Long chains of IPI sensors can suffer from voltage drop. We use thicker 18AWG conductors for the power lines to ensure the last sensor in a 200m string receives adequate voltage.
