- Confirming candidate-profile activation, protecting account security, and recording the origin of a job application
4. Candidate Profile Activation and Location
New candidate profiles created with email remain inactive until the candidate opens the secure email link and expressly allows browser location access on the activation page.
We use the precise activation coordinates only for account security and job application origin verification. This information is not included in automated candidate screening, ATS scoring, or marketing segmentation.
The precise activation-location record is separated from the candidate profile, restricted to authorized administration, and scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days. Profile activation timestamps may be retained as part of the account security record.
If you do not provide location permission, the profile is not activated and cannot submit a job application. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or another reasonable activation review where required by applicable law.
