Embedded Systems Engineer (Wireless Sensor Hardware)

Greater NoidaOn-sitePosted 8/12/2026Deadline 22/8/2026

About the Role

We are hiring an Embedded Systems Engineer to design and build the next generation of wireless sensing hardware for structural health monitoring and geotechnical instrumentation. In this role you will own products end to end, from schematic and PCB through firmware, field validation, and handover to manufacturing. You will develop low-power wireless sensor nodes, gateways, and data acquisition units that operate reliably for years in harsh outdoor environments, communicating over LoRa and mesh networks and feeding data into our cloud monitoring platform. You will interface precision sensors such as vibrating wire, MEMS tilt, strain, and temperature, and solve real engineering problems in power optimization, RF performance, and rugged deployment. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who wants direct ownership of hardware that goes into live railway, tunnel, dam, and slope monitoring projects. You will work closely with the platform and instrumentation teams and see your designs deployed on real infrastructure across India.

What You'll Do

  • Design wireless sensor nodes for structural and geotechnical monitoring
  • Develop firmware for low-power microcontrollers in RTOS environments
  • Design gateways and data acquisition units with LoRa and mesh connectivity
  • Produce schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts from concept to production
  • Interface precision sensors including vibrating wire
  • MEMS tilt
  • strain
  • and temperature
  • Optimize devices for multi-year battery life in field conditions
  • Run hardware bring-up
  • testing
  • and on-site validation
  • Coordinate device-to-cloud data flow with the platform team
  • Prepare design documentation
  • BOMs
  • and manufacturing files

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics
  • Electronics and Communication
  • or Instrumentation
  • 2 to 8 years of embedded hardware and firmware experience
  • Demonstrated portfolio of shipped embedded or IoT hardware
  • M.Tech in a relevant specialization is a plus
